Speaker: Dr. Danny Huang
Bio: Danny Y. Huang is an Assistant Professor at the Dept of Electrical and Computer Engineering at New York University. He is broadly interested in using real-world network traffic to infer human behaviors. He leads the IoT Inspector project, an open-source software tool used by 6K+ users worldwide and journalists at Gizmodo and Washington Post to understand smart home network activities. He is using similar techniques to understand the home network activities of older adults and objectively learn about their human behaviors. Dr. Huang completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Princeton University; he obtained his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering at University of California, San Diego; he graduated with a BA in Computer Science at Williams College, Massachusetts.
