Bio: Roxana Botezatu, PhD, is a language scientist with expertise in bilingualism, aphasia, and cognitive aging. Her work uses behavioral, electrophysiological, and graph-theoretic approaches to study language processing in bilingual adults and individuals with neurogenic communication disorders. Her current research integrates graph theory and machine learning to identify language-based markers of cognitive decline, with the long-term goal of developing scalable tools for early detection of dementia risk.
