Short Bio:

Prof. Dr. Renaldas Raisutis is Chief researcher and Head of Numerical Simulation Laboratory at Ultrasound Research Institute, Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) and Professor at Department of Electrical Power systems, Faculty of Electrical and Electronics engineering, KTU. He graduated in 1999 from KTU (Lithuania) with a B.S.E. degree in electronics engineering, gained an M.S. degree in ultrasound technology in 2001 and gained a Ph.D. degree in measurement technology in 2005. His main field of research activity: fundamental and applied ultrasound, non-destructive testing, measurements, applications of non-contact technologies for monitoring and quality control, signal and image processing, characterization of materials, solutions for prediction maintenance, clinical decision support and diagnostics, medical devices. He is author and co-author of more than 103 scientific publications, innovator and co-author of 10 international patents and patent applications. He is a member and chairman of doctoral studies committee of Measurement Engineering. He is an expert, mentor-business angel and consultant for local and international industries and technical advisor of company “Diabetis”
